As a new patient, we will try to make your first visit as comfortable as possible. We have set up our clinic to provide a warm and friendly ambiance, unlike the hospital-like situation that you dread. On your first visit, we will get to know you better and gather information about your past and present dental experiences. Cosmetic and General Dentist
Dr. Michael Jacobs was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Major in Psychology and a minor in Biochemistry. Dr. Jacobs then went on to pursue his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2005. He has over 13 years of experience in general dentistry in South Florida, certified in Invisalign Orthodontics and is an active member of the Miami Dental Society. Enthusiastic about his profession, Dr. Jacobs takes pride in getting to know each and every one of his patients and making them feel comfortable with all facets of dentistry. Each patient receives his undivided attention and care; which is of utmost importance to Dr. Jacobs. He is married to his beautiful wife, Sabina, with two children: Jordyn and Dylan, 8 and 3. Also an avid sports enthusiast and participant, he spends his spare time running the Adult Softball League and enjoying pick-up hockey.
GENERAL and COSMETIC DENTIST
Dr. Rodriguez was born in Miami, grew up in California, and later returned to Florida for high school and college. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University and went on to study dentistry at New York University. Once she graduated from dental school she decided to move back down to Miami to settle down. She is dedicated to providing the best quality treatment to her patients, while making sure they are comfortable and relaxed. In her free time, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling with her fiance, exercising, and most importantly playing with her long haired mini dachshund named Ralfi. Dr. Rodriguez’s parents are both from Puerto Rico so you can also catch her there a couple times a year. She looks forward to meeting you!
Endodontist
Dr. Jonathan Journo grew up in Marseille, France. He then migrated to Florida where he attended the University of Miami. He graduated with a BS and then attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine where he obtained his DMD. Dr. Journo then moved to Dallas, TX to specialize in Endodontics at the Texas A&M-Baylor College of Dentistry, where he obtained his certificate. While in residency, Dr. Journo served as Chief resident and provided supervision to dental students. Dr. Journo is currently a board-eligible candidate and is pursuing his goal to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Journo is very passionate about endodontics and collaborating with other dentists in his area. He encourages all his patients and colleagues to feel free to reach out to him. He is excited to be part of the South Florida dental community and to positively contribute to saving natural teeth, managing dental pain, and treating endodontic diseases.
